As a professional harpist in the Kansas City area, Phaedra performs as a free-lance musician. She plays a variety of venues, including weddings, dinners, holiday parties, corporate events, orchestrally, and other special occassions. Phaedra is enjoys assisting her clients by adapting the music to help enhance the desired atmosphere.

In playing for dinner parties, many of her clients have requested and enjoyed a blend of classical, pop, folk tunes, and other genres.

Heather grew up in and currently resides in Kansas City with her husband and their two daughters.  Not always a photographer, several years ago Heather took a leap of faith to pursue her dream and she's never looked back.

David teaches martial arts and fitness to people of all ages, from 3 yrs to senior citizens.  He is well experienced and ranked in many different styles of martial arts that can be geared towards sport and/or self-defense such as: Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wing Chun Kung Fu, and Knife/Stick weapons tactics. He has been teaching at Dragon Family Martial Arts Center for 9 years and has been training extensively for 11 years. David is also one of the head coaches at a weight-loss/strength and conditioning gym where he write the cardio-kickboxing program.  In between all this I do private lessons and personal training.

As an MMA fighter he holds an amateur Title Belt at 155lbs. David has  participated in many World tournaments and have taken first place at the North American Grappling Association's World Submission Grappling Championship in Dallas in December, and last month won the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu State Championship at under 160lbs. On June 3rd he competed in the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation's World Tournament in Long Beach, CA.

The Olathe Music Teacher’s Association (OMTA) is a group of local private music teachers striving for excellence in their own abilities as instructors of the arts.  All the teachers come highly qualified in their area of expertise, continually seek growth as musicians, and strive to encourage students in their growth.

We use our organization to network, inform and help each other handle challenges that the private music studio teacher faces.   OMTA meets monthly to provide teachers with a time for open discussion of these issues and for ongoing teacher education.  We also provide various opportunities for students to perform.
